KPMG is currently seeking a Billing Tax Technician, Global Mobility Services to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) (https://tax.kpmg.us/services/global-mobility.html) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Engagement Management Coordinators (EMCs) for overall financial management of the client allocation for the Stamford GMS business unit for both risk management and financial accounting of client projects, invoicing and account receivables

  • Create and maintain digital filing of risk documentation, maintain risk process, and monthly reviews ensuring all documents are uploaded and tracked for risk measures

  • Monitor engagement project code for current fiscal year accounting, checking for outdated project codes, monitoring revenue issues and potential project codes to close

  • Maintain client information list for regular billing cadence and managing the team on scheduled timely invoicing; join in person meetings and maintaining timely deliverables for the client allocation

  • Engage in global coordination with KPMG global member firms, and collaboration site management and access administration

  • Assist with reporting and analytics for account receivables, coordinate with account payables with client contact for maintaining financials

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college/university

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; SharePoint experience is preferred, Alteryx experience

  • Demonstrate ability to execute a quality work product

  • Precise attention to details and meet assigned deliverable deadlines

  • Strong writing skills and analytical skills

  • Possess good time management, client service, teaming, organizational and problem-solving skills
