KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join ourpractice.
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services including planning, research, compliance, provision work, and mergers and acquisitions activities
Assist with new business development related to tax services mentioned above
Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions for moderate to complex tax issues with little or no supervision
Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members
A minimum of five years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, J.D., or LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
Fluent in both English and Japanese
Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including provision and advisory experience and working knowledge of the application of FASB 109
Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information
Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
