KPMG's valuation professionals provide clients robust and informed guidance on valuation matters across multiple sectors, deal stages and business needs. We determine fair (market) value of equity shares, assets or complex financial instruments for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and other regulatory standards. Our engagements include providing pre and post deal Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), Impairment Testing, employee or management incentive scheme valuations and recurring fund valuations. KPMG is currently seeking an EVS Senior Manager Transfer Pricing Consulting to join our Transfer Pricing (https://tax.kpmg.us/services/transfer-pricing.html) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff on tax and transfer pricing projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews

  • Evaluate and advise clients on intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans and conduct financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations, industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation

  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance purposes using MS Word, Excel, Access, and various statistical sampling packages

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience conducting advisory related projects with an audit, tax, and/or advisory services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, economics, or business; completion of an advanced degree or professional designation including, but not limited to, advanced degrees: PHD in Philosophy, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering; or Masters in: Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Economics, International Economics, Finance, Law and Diplomacy, Real Estate, Political Science, Taxation, International Affairs (from U.S. university), Public Policy, Information and Data Science, or Accounting; or JD; Professional Designations: CPA, EA, or Transfer Pricing Certificate from CIOT; in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list

  • Must have project management and project execution experience in complex intellectual property engagements within the last two years that require(d) cross functional collaboration with other Tax departments including, but not limited to, International Tax and Accounting Methods and Credits

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: transfer pricing studies, financial statement analysis, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, plan evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis and thorough understanding of the U.S. Transfer Pricing Regulations and international transfer pricing environment

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative background skills; excellent research, written and verbal communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
