KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Technology Strategy Lead to join our Global IT organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functionally-aligned Business Technology Service Leads (BTSLs) to identify opportunities to provide strategy and planning services to business stakeholders, determine the best approach for engagement and deliverables and gain commitment from stakeholders to proceed

  • Design technology strategy and planning workshops based on business objectives and stakeholder analysis including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques, pre-work, artifacts and deliverables

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team in the planning and execution of technology strategy and planning workshops including Business Service Design Architects, Business Service Information Architects, Enterprise Architects and other BTSL team members as required

  • Conduct business service discovery and/or business scenario workshops to identify new revenue opportunities and/or opportunities to digitize existing KPMG services including process and/or value chain analysis, business service model, business canvas, process and solution enablement plan

  • Provide business case/business planning support for teams looking to build new business services and/or as support to functional BTSLs in business case and cost estimations

  • Lead the adaptation/customization of the business/IT governance models for Global Functions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years in IT roles spanning strategy, architecture and delivery functions with at least five years within leadership roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e., Computer Science) from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to lead the planning, organizing and facilitation of executive-level strategic or IT planning workshops

  • Experience across all layers of architecture (business, data, information systems, infrastructure)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills especially in areas of teamwork, facilitation, influence, and negotiation

  • Experience in Big Four (or similar professional services firms) working across client-facing service lines such as Advisory, Audit and Tax is a plus
