KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Customer & Operations for ourpractice.


  • Lead key business development activities for our customer strategy and growth advisory practice related to customer strategy and transformation, including targeting key C- level clients, proposing services and closing opportunities in the customer experience management (CEM) area

  • Lead highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging approaches in customer experience, loyalty programs, sales and marketing strategies

  • Execute process transformation, measurable improved operational performance and organizational restructuring

  • Establish client value propositions that tie key metrics and CFO focus areas directly to operational improvements and revenue generating tactics

  • Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings

  • Assist in practice administration including resource allocation, career development of staff, and other people management decisions


  • A minimum of eight years of management consulting experience related to marketing effectiveness, marketing management, campaign management, marketing/digital technology, customer data analytics, and change management ideally within the consumer markets and/or financial services industries

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university; MBA preferred

  • Experience with large-scale marketing delivery with a proven track record and demonstrated success achieving client results and process improvement for marketing, sales, and customer experience processes focused on process and performance management for customer-facing products and services leveraging statistical analysis to inform the strategy

  • Knowledge of current marketing technologies utilized in supporting customer engagement & marketing operations and functions such as Marketing Automation, Personalization, Marketing Resource Management, and Ad Tech

  • Experience in developing marketing related strategies and solutions in Financial Services, Consumer Product, Retail, and Insurance is a plus with demonstrated ability to analyze critical business requirements, identify deficiencies, potential opportunities and develop innovative solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenue and improving customer service offerings

  • Excellent foundational consulting skills including strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, impactful client presence, compelling facilitation and presentation skills and travel may be up to 80-100%
