KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Customer & Operations for ourpractice.
Responsibilities:
Identify, establish, maintain and manage relationships with key executives at target clients
Lead key business development activities in the insurance sector, typically as part of a team, including opportunity identification and proposal development, relating to Customer Experience, Marketing, Distribution/Sales, Underwriting, policy service and admin, claims and other front and middle office opportunities
Deliver and manage advisory engagements for insurance clients while leading client and KPMG work teams throughout the engagement lifecycle by leveraging customer experience, customer analytics, marketing, sales / distribution and service methodologies, approaches and strategies
Develop thought-leadership, marketing collateral, value propositions and service offerings relevant to the front and middle office of our insurance clients
Assist practice leadership with practice administration including resource allocation, training and career development of staff, community building, and other people management decisions
Qualifications:
A minimum of eight years of consulting experience in customer strategy and customer transformation related to improving customer experience and thereby customer acquisition, profitability and retention within the insurance space
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; advanced degree from an accredited college/university preferred with excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation and people management skills
Insurance sector knowledge as it relates to front and middle office strategies, functions and capabilities including technologies across marketing, sales / distribution, underwriting, policy admin and claims
Intimate knowledge of the life, annuity, retirement, group and employee voluntary benefits subsector or the property & casualty personal and commercial lines subsector; knowledge of both subsectors is a significant plus
Deep advisory experience in customer experience strategies as well as implementation and ongoing management across the customer lifecycle from identification and targeting to quoting to underwriting to policy issue to service and administration to claim handling to renewal
Strong understanding of both the direct and the intermediary (captive and independent agents, broker / producers) acquisition and service channels, including 'agent experience'
Willingness to travel which may, at times, be as much as one hundred percent
